Do you think this knife is worth it and if you are a good knife for EDC?
BTW EDC means that every day wear, here is the link to link knife http://www.remington.com/products/accessories/cutlery/fast_action_soft_touch_knives.asp also if you have any other suggestions please post. im in the price range of $ 10 - $ 30 maybe more if it is a good buy, im also looking to buy in Plattsburgh. I will not be doing any crazy work hard with the knife Cash only slightly cutting cutting ROP and the like.
short answer is no, provide details below. Whenever the manufacturer states that "440 Steel by type steel knife means 440A, which is the worst of every three steels in 440 groups. More information about steel knife steel knife FAQ here - http://www.zknives.com/knives/articles/knifesteelfaq.shtml and more here - http://www.zknives.com/knives/kitchen/misc/articles/kkchoser/kksteel.shtml From what I can see in the picture these are the locks online. There is an endless debate as to fixing of the blade, which is the safest, but Liner Lock is not the best option anyone. Lockbacks, framelocks, spindle lock, etc are better choices much. I know it sounds strange, but cutting cardboard and certain types of cables (manila, for example) is much harder on the razor's edge that wood carving such enemy. Both are very abrasive and edge wear faster. In fact, the use of both, cardboard and string to test edge retention of knives. I had the factory dull knives less than 100 inches of cardboard. Many of these knives will not even 1950-1960 cuts through 1 "manila rope before going bored. Therefore, the cut is not easy as you might think:) I'd recommend something 440C or better. Beretta makes lockback folders so very cheap, Benchmade knives are some lower end of the same steel, Kershaw has very good options and very reasonable prices, also Spyderco does if you like his style. 1928 fifty dollar bill?
Hi, I have a 1928 fifty dollar bill. No stars on it (I think that is one thing that makes it more collectible?
It does have a slight crease down the center where it has been folded in half and the edges are slightly wrinkled, other than that in great shape. Also the back side of it is a weird green (but I know it is not a fake as I got it from a bank several years ago).
Thanks for your help...hope I provided enough info!
Hi, thanks for your response....it does have that printed on it....any idea if it has any value other than the obvious $50?
and it is "D" series
yes I realized that it was not a "D" series after I posted....it is series A...thanks for your response!!!
There is no series 1928D $50 note they made a series 1928 and a series 1928A. if you mean the Federal Reserve District is a D and a #4 then it was made for the FEB in Cleveland Ohio for that is the forth district and a D is the forth letter. The Cleveland district is not one of the scarce ones for the series 1928. The note sells for $100 in grade fine and $400 in grade extra fine yours is closer to the grade of fine. Dealers pay at least 40% less.
