Is it offensive to refer to the uncle's life as a gay partner aunt?

I will not do is be rude or offensive. I really love them! I do not know if it is socially acceptable .... Steven Uncle Henry and Aunt. Is this something only I have to do to normalize the fact that they are gay? What is the general consensus on the subject? Would it offend you? It's not one of them girly. My uncle in the blood is the men's title, because that's what I grew to call him. :-)

I think it's fun! It is clearly not malicious, but look loving - as glad to take in a situation that otherwise might make people uncomfortable. If your uncle and his partner is not offended, you have nothing to worry. Who would think I was belittling their relationship is far too mired in political correctness to appreciate a bit of levity.
