Knife Laws - Charlotte, NC?
My main question/concern is having a knife while hiking in the woods and camping in NC state parks.
I have a fixed blade 3.8 inches, its a fallkniven f1 survival knife
I know the only legal knife to carry everyday is a folding pocket knife 3 inches or less - but what about while camping or hiking?
Would you get arrested or fined for having a knife this size?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
No. If you are out camping you need items like that. It is not illegal to have a knife in public. Carrying one like you described concealed is what gets you arrested.
NC Law Officer.

How does the Jungle and The Autobiography of Malcom X relate to history essay?
can someone give me important bullet points to include in my essay as to how these two books relate to history?
I can help you out with The Jungle. I'm not too sure about Malcom X, I'll tell you about him, but I don't know specifically about is autobiography.
The Jungle, by Upton Sinclair, was written in response to the horrid conditions of the meatpacking industry in the early 20th century. The book (a work of fiction) described the Chicago meatpackers, with workers getting fingers or limbs cut off and ground into the meat; filthy floors and tools, etc.
Thanks to his efforts, the federal government created an agency for sanitation inspection.
Malcom X was a Muslim black nationalist. As opposed to Dr. King, he did not shun violent efforts in civil rights. He led the Nation of Islam, and I can't remember who assassinated him.
Good luck on your paper.
