Should I get my knife Schrade fixed?
I have a Schrade hunting knife that was given to me. It's Uncle Henry Bear Paw style for everyone who knows about this. The problem is that the spring that keeps the lockblade in place was gone, so you have to keep your thumb on the lockblade while using the knife. I tried calling the company that bought Schrade, but only change it for a knife that is now done abroad, and without a serial number. I called the whole area, and not to put any more fixed knives. Could I get another used one for $ 15, but I'll just keep this one. Should I wear with it and use it as lockblade keeps in place? Or I should change to a new knife made abroad? Is it too dangerous using a pocket knife with the thumb on the lockblade? Let me know. Thank you.
If you're like I am thinking in my head should be fine the way it is. I'd hate to be broke, so when you get a used $ 15. I prefer the ravine that is done abroad, however.
