Best kitchen knives - professional?
I'm looking to get my boyfriend a knife set for Christmas - is believed to be the next Jamie Oliver, but has never had a cooking class in your life. The knife is used mostly for cutting vegetables or chicken and the like, which would be professional knife best for him or what would you recommend?
Wusthof knives are very good, fairly cheap in price too!
Knife Knive

When knives began to appear as pocket knives, which were developed so that almost could fold in half and be able to ride in a safe place hidden. When the knives were opened, is usually done with the thumb or finger, which means that a person would have to use two hands to open his knife. This is something that worked for many people, but also could be dangerous in the long run.
This is part of why they developed lock knives online. With these knives, you can open and close the blade with one hand, in a safe manner. The knife was designed by Michael Walker, who took what was once called knife the older style that is closed, which meant a more robust form of insurance.
The line lock knives that can be found in stores hunting equipment and fishing are now commonly referred to as blades. When unfolded, it remains open by a leaf spring or lockbar system. Lockbar presses against the lower leaf and does not let you close until you press the lockbar. Then closes by itself. Lockbar is closed until pressed again.
This type of hunting knife is useful because it allows you to keep your knife safely closed when not in use, ensuring that no accident. This mechanism creates a way to keep a knife at home or in a tackle box without worrying about the safety of others who may be digging in drawers or boxes to retrieve it. The knife block line also works to lock the knife open, so you do not have to worry about accidentally falling edge fingers constantly closed or blocked confident, while you are trying to complete a task.
The line lock knife also allows you to open and close the blade with one hand. This makes the entire unit easier and more convenient to use. These sheets are also made of strong materials, usually steel or titanium, to better withstand the rigorous use and movement to users that the knife will last.
Whether for outdoor use or for your home, with a solid folding knife at your disposal is important. If you do not have one, consider a line lock knife for safety, ease of use and durability.
