I am trying to plan ahead and get some names before the baby is born (I'm in January 15). The sex of the child will be a surprise. My husband loves Finnegan for a child (which would use Finn for short), but I'm not really sold. Our name is Ryan, so I think Ryan will be called much if the name could be a name, as often happens with my husband and his name is not a surname. Also reminds me of Casey and Finnegan in everything Mr. Dressup fans there. So what do you think of Ryan Finnegan?
Finnegan is a really cool name in my opinion, however, goes well with Ryan. The "n" sound at the end of the two names and makes it too Matchy almost sounds like a nursery rhyme. What Finlee? He could still call and Finn is better with the last name Ryan. Congratulations on your little guy!
