combat knife fighting against the sword?
I was wondering what the two most practical and effective in a combat situation real. "The sword of winning since you have more distance or knife, as it is very light and fast? Well, let's assume that both fighters have the same skill level ... Thanks guys, can you explain gun whitch is better in all in any combat situation.
Sword, no doubt. I take it from your question not have much experience with anyone. Understandably, we no longer live in feudal times lol! Well, I am a student of kendo, and can attest that the scope and greater cutting area of the sword makes the knife almost useless against him. Some fools say it is probably that the knife can be thrown into a sword wielding opponent, but knives in the real world are not very effective when thrown. Beyond that, ask any marine trained K-Bar: There is no way they're going to throw down their weapons only melee if you have a sword match. light that is fast and does not help much if you can not get in close enough to do the damage necessary to stop an opponent. Let's put this silly question to rest by making a new proverb: "Never bring a knife to a swordfight."
