Bojutsu
Dating back thousands of years, Bojutsu was probably a martial art of the battlefield, used for training troops.
It was approved by the police during the Edo period (1603-1868) which has probably influenced many of the techniques that exist today, especially those designed not to kill but rather restrictive harm or rebellious prisoners. Interestingly, development of technical personnel in the field of battle probably occurred after the warriors have to improvise if the blade of a weapon like the spear was lost in battle.
Of improvised weapons,
