How can you cut a rock for rock collecting?
I am a beginner in rock cutting and need help. My husband and I went and picked up the rocks and now I'm interested to see what is inside them. We have something to cut with, but just need help on how and where we cut into the rock. Do you just cut in half, or should we look for a fracture?
Find a local gem and mineral club in your area and talk to them. Our club has all the Equiptment for cutting and polishing. Most clubs do and are always looking for people who share your interest and want to join. It's a cheap way to get access to those of the Equiptment, which is very expensive and a lot of knowledge.
