Uncle Henry
My grandmother's uncle, Anton and his son Henry Orpikowski disapeared in Poland in 1939. Comments?

Orpikowski Anton was born in 1885 in Lipno, Poland. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1900 and married my grandmother's aunt. They had four children including a son named Henry. Henry was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1915. In 1939, a few months before Hitler began World War II, Anton decided to take his son Henry back to Poland. It is still unclear exactly why he did it, but we suspect it was to show his roots, the city Anton had come etc. War broke out shortly after arriving there and none was seen or heard from again. I've been to Auschwitz, which is near Lipno, but could not find anything in their files there. The Orpikowskis were Catholic, so I'm not sure the Nazis specifically targeted at them anyway. Does anyone know anything about any of these people or places Thanks be good for research them?!

There is no central database of Holocaust victims and survivors, but could start with the list of organizations issued in the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum: Stephan Orpikowski There http://www.ushmm.org/research/library/faq/details.php?lang=en&topic=03 was July 7, 1917 in Lipno, and lived there when he was taken to Dachau. Records show that came on 3 September 1940, and was released. It may be coincidence, but could be a starting place. Here is the log: http://stevemorse.org/dachau/details.php?lastname=ORPIKOWSKI&firstname=Stephan&title=&birthday=07&birthmonth=Jul&birthyear=1917&birthplace=Lipno&town=Lipno&street=Geradestr.+20&number=17406&DateOfArrival=zug.+03+Sep+ 1940 + Sa. available = & Befr. In the 2008 edition, the Guinness Book of Records presented the knife with the most features ever made. This new life has 87 different tools It performs over 100 functions. If the knife is about nine inches long and four inches wide and weighs about three pounds. To date approximately 500 of 1200 dollars U.S. Swiss Army knives have been sold.

Web design is a bit like the Swiss Army knife. A well developed website is compact and utilitarian. Your website can offer customers with multiple tools in a compact design and understandable. The key will be to ensure access to the tools is simple and logical. Too many websites make the process more difficult than it should be and not wanting to reject potential online consumers do not want to simply spend time to find out.

I I remember camping with family and friends and a Swiss Army knife used to cut small fragments around the tents. The scissors are used to remove the chain and excess certain types of cables. The knife serves many purposes and was regularly called upon to solve a variety of problems and most time he did. A knife that he had even had a small courtyard that could be used in emergencies.

Work on the development a site that responds to the problems instead of creating them. Consider the logical steps of its customers use to find articles and research data. The tools they provide to their customers are tools that can ultimately sell your product.

Technology Web Builder can be also useful for designing web pages is Swiss Army knives. Because the software was designed by the best web design today, can provide many tools like knives world record.

In most cases, the Web Builder software can provide more tools for customers and the owner of the website solutions web design more expensive.

By comparing the features that you may be able to upgrade from a knife to a proverbial knife to a much more important in web page design. Unlike most life choices that can actually do more with less. More tools Web site and opportunities for less money.

The growth of this sector of web design is important that dares to question the idea that only individual designers are able to complete the design of web pages that can handle the needs of individual businesses.

Perhaps the biggest reason many companies are not in the Web builder software has to do with the fear that it would never be able to develop the site on your own, no matter how including many tools have been available to them.

The truth is that the site of the current building is no more difficult than developing a social networking site. It is explained in detail and online customer support is available. In some cases, you can hire a designer to work with you to develop the site if you're really confident about their skills or will simply not develop the site. In the end, is still a solution for your needs of web design.

Bad luck to give a knife as a gift?

I want to buy my boyfriend a knife high quality you want for Christmas (who has no idea, of course - A knife display). But I discovered that it is bad luck to give a knife as a gift unless you take the money and receiver. Is this true? I thought perhaps if I give him the knife and a little money, may be good, because it Folklore says it (giving money and invests the type of knife that can bring bad luck ...) - is considered to have a knife as a gift from a lover love is soon - maybe I should not take the knife at all? But I know I absolutely love the gift!

It is the misfortune of take a knife, unless it receives a token sum of money, usually a coin, the person who gives it. Because the knife symbolizes the breaking of ties between people, unless there is some kind of reward.
