What do you get when you combine both the Japanese with a Middle Eastern style Talwar? Cold Steel Black Sable. Check out the single sheet and find Black Sable is the best of both worlds, the primary and secondary of a routine both the curvature of a Talwar.

I was lucky to get a good price on the Sable Black and here are my honest opinions:

What I like about the knife:

1. Although Sable Black is beautiful enough to put on display or to lock, is also very practical for everyday utility use. Its 4-inch blade makes it legal to carry with you almost anywhere, and ambidextrous pocket clip, stainless steel allows easy right or left handed carry.

2. Made with the hottest of steel on the market today, VG-1 San Mai III, Sable Black gives a compromise between the edge retention and flexibility.

With an inner core of VG-1 steel and outer 400 layers of stainless steel, the Black Sable will be right hair shaving sharp from the box and much less prone to leaf rust typical high carbon.

3. Cold Steel used for polishing micarta pistol grip style handle. The handle feels very smooth in hand, but still robust enough to handle the most difficult situations.

4. When opens the knife, you will notice that the clicking of the Black Sable does when going to the locked position. It seems obvious that the blockade is incredibly strong and has no movement (up and down or side to side).

5. To close a knife carefully, are made of reinforced titanium. This role will solidify the Black Sable as a custom knife in a very reasonable price.

What turns me off:

1. I'd like Cold Steel will offer the same design at a lower price. Apart from that, I have nothing negative to say about the Black Sable.

Overall:

Class All Black on the cold steel Sable is high. The steel handle, cushions, pocket clip and the series "custom" kit are made to last a lifetime. Get a Black Sable, will be happy you did!

What is the difference between a spring assisted knife and a side opening automatic Knife?

Spring knives legal assistance in more areas. They require a grassroots effort to start the open road (30%) of human effort, after which it takes over a spring and opens the blade the rest the road.
