How do I open a knife?
I have to cut the boxes for recycling. I bought a knife w / 2 leaves included, but do not know how to get it running. There are indications that only a piece of cardboard sticking out of where the blade should be telling you to wear safety glasses and care, (that I can get). There is a button small that it slides up and down I thought that slid the blade up, but nothing happens when I do that. There is a large screw in the handle, I have to undo the screw? (I may have been broken, so I went back to the store and looked at the others, and all are in the same way - there was nobody in the Department of asking).
Take the screw out and the knife is separated into two halves. Take one of the leaves, after removing the piece of cardboard and put it on the bar so that the two cuts on top of the sheet are aligned with the tabs on the scroll bar. pay particular attention to separating the two halves and put the knife in set in the same way .. Replace the screw and push down on the slider while pushing the room at the time both of you. You must be ready to cut boxes. Note that the paper dulls quickly. When the blade is dull knife open and rotate the blade around and use the other side. One sheet will give two uses. I hope this helps. If not go to your local Ace Hardware and Home Depot and ask someone there. They will be happy to show you. Good Luck
Utility Knife

Benchmade Blackwood by the skirmish combines rugged toughness with an attractive design for a pocket knife that you will be happy to take your side. I was lucky get a Blackwood Skirmish of my own recently and here are my thoughts:
What I like about the knife:
1. At 4.30 inches long, the modified drop point style blade is crafted from S30V steel. S30v is steel which gives it great high-carbon-like edge retention with rust and corrosion resistance of stainless steel.
2. Benchmade's Monolock is one of the strongest locks in the knife market today. It's no surprise that they would use this block in one of his best folders. When in the locked position, my skirmish has no movement from side to side or up and down.
3. The super-hard titanium handle not only looks good but feels comfortable in your hand. Benchmade has integrated grooves that both protect your finger from sliding up the blade and help with general sense.
4. Jimping or thumb grooves on the back of the blade to help high-impact sectors, through something or tear in a hurry.
5. One handed opening should be no problem with the Skirmish Blackwood. Just move the ambidextrous thumb hole and see the fly sheet in the locked position.
What I liked:
I would like the skirmish Blackwood was available with an ambidextrous pocket clip.
Overall:
Benchmade Blackwood Skirmish recommend for anyone who needs a hard job or a knife. Combining great steel, a hard block, sturdy handle and care impeccable in detail and get the Blackwood Skirmish.
