How can I identify an ancient saber / sword? No marks, a basket of oil grip, round point and not sharp.?
It seems be of practical exercise or perhaps a training tool. Its good steel and well made. Similar to the Civil War cavalry swords.
Sounds like a foil for me.

One of many concerns facing is whether the new mother to feed her newborn breast or bottle. When the tradition of breastfeeding in the United America was lost during the last century, bottle feeding became the norm. Today many women are choosing to breastfeed, but with a busy lifestyles and demanding that they often find that their babies need to accept a bottle (hopefully full of breast milk). Sometimes a breastfed baby refuses to accept an artificial nipple for feeding. The following suggestions may help in delivering a baby a bottle of resistance. However, none of them are necessarily a complete solution. "Encouraging your baby to accept a bottle is a process that may require practice and patience during several weeks.
When to Start
 • Tips for the best time to start feeding a baby bottle breast milk varies in research in over two weeks to six weeks old. Two markers are useful to the production of breast milk is well established and breastfeeding is going well. When those conditions are criteria, it is suggested from two to four weeks of age, since an older baby can strongly reject the bottle.
The approach
 • Sometimes a breastfed baby to take a bottle of the mother. However, many nursing infants refuse to take a bottle of their mothers, who know instinctively that she provide milk and are confused and angry about the different option, less familiar. It may be helpful to have someone other than the supply of the mother of a baby being breastfed a bottle. Mothers may want to leave the room or leave the house during bottle feeding. Or sometimes the exact opposite approach works and the mother is the best person to offer the bottle.
• To have the parent / carer imitate the ritual of feeding the mother of nursing practices and respect for the newborn breastfeeding learned signals. Mom want to breastfeed for a few minutes before offering the bottle. Then the parent or caregiver to hold your baby as the bottle is given, as the mother cuddles the baby while nursing.
 • If the baby refuses to be embraced, that the parent / carer hold the baby with her back against his chest with the baby facing out. Looking out into the room provides a distraction, which can be useful.
 • As a last resort, the parent / caregiver may try to feed the baby sitting in a child seat if your baby still resists being cuddled.
• Â Try short, frequent testing until the latch-artificial without difficulty. It is best to try several short essays that take a long time to scream.
 • Instruct the parent / carer to give the baby a bottle after a nap, before the baby is awake, or before the baby is too hungry. The softer the baby, the greater the possibility of accepting something new. The old adage "if the baby is hungry enough that he or she should "really does not work.
 • Do not let the father is always the "bad boy". The child and the father need to develop a positive relationship, so do not allow dad to be the only one who tries to bottle-feed the baby. Have family members and caregivers provide a baby bottle.
Helpful Hints
 • Try starting with a dropper or a spoon, then go to a nipple. When using a spoon, have the baby sitting in an infant seat, put the spoon in his mouth and just the tip of the milk in Do not try to put the spoon in the baby mouth.
 • gently stimulating the infant's mouth with the artificial nipple in the same pattern as with the nipple of the mother in the chest. Let the baby "mouth" of the bottle and become familiar with it. Sometimes, playing with the nipple to the baby relieves the tension.
 • From different flavors of milk, Once frozen, try the chilled fresh milk when feeding from a bottle. Just offer a little at a time so we are not losing precious breast milk.
 • Let the baby suck on a clean finger first, then slide the nipple in baby's mouth with his finger. Once the baby is sucking, slide your finger.
 • Dip the nipple into hot milk.
 • Some babies prefer the liquid is heated, the Like breast milk, while others like the cold.
 • Some babies prefer the nipple to be heated with hot water, despite a teething child may prefer the nipple in the fridge.
 • Try a nipple that best resembles mother's nipple or one with a handle soft, "" like a Munchkin nipple.
 • If the flow of milk from the nipple is too fast, try a slow flow nipple. If your own milk flows very quickly, try a medium or fast flow nipple.
 • If your child refuses the taste of latex nipples, try clear silicone nipples.
 • Introduction baby pacifiers often accept help, but can last from 8 to 12 weeks.
 • If the baby is old enough, let's play baby with an empty bottle for a day or two to become familiar with it.
Expectations Food
 • A word about the volume: your baby's stomach is the size of your fist curled. The full power range and one / half ounce to three ounces of a very young child. Four to six ounces are appropriate for the older baby who has mastered the art of food.
 • Know how to recognize when your baby is full you can improve your success with the bottle.
 • It is not uncommon for babies swallow breast-ounce bottle. They are swallowing in response to milk in their languages, and fasting, constant flow of the bottle, as they do during his downswing. Low power, give an ounce or two, then remove the nipple and burp the baby, to mimic the pattern of breastfeeding.
 • When sucking needs are met in the chest, some never breastfed babies take bottles. They may transition to a sippy cup with a little help to the four or six months and stop taking the bottles in total.
Remember that your attitude is important. Stay happy and positive - even fun - and make a play. Do not let your child's sense of frustration. Try practicing with a bottle and nipple a little every day.
