What are the best lockback knife handles?

is wood or metal? or what is the best material for a handle lockback knives?

Wood will be lighter, and to use more (do not show scratches as easily as the metal). Wood also provides more grip than metal, but the control can be added in other ways (chequering knot wood or metal, etc.) so that should be taken into account. The metal can be etched much easier / Cheap / easily than wood, so that could be considered in the decision too. Then you have the aesthetic appearance do you prefer of? It also comes to reflect the comments of the first response, I love G-10.
