Questions about Japanese swords?
I am a martial artist and practice of both aikido and iaido. My girlfriend gave me an Iaito (like a Japanese katana, but the leaf has not been sharpened, especially for Iaido) for our anniversary. I want to take to the recreation center at my university to practice, but I worry about the cold may damage the road there. Does anyone know if this could happen? I keep it in its sheath, and have engaged in a sword sheath material transport. Also I oiled the road as I supposed, but is an expensive gift, so I want to be very careful with him ... Thanks!
While not carried out and drawing will be fine. They keep it as is expected and you will have nothing to worry about. Remember to clean and oil after every practice session.
